Webzen Launches Major Content Patch with Endgame Raid Expansion and Quality-of-Life Upgrades
Webzen continues its aggressive content rollout for the idle RPG MU: Pocket Knights with the release of its latest major update. Arriving shortly after the 6th/7th Class Advancements and the Rune System, this patch focuses on expanding cooperative endgame challenges, enhancing progression for high-tier players, and streamlining daily routines. The highlight is the introduction of a seasonal Guild Boss feature that pits alliances against a colossal new threat.
The rapid cadence of updates since the game’s global launch in late September confirms Webzen’s commitment to continuous evolution of the MU mobile experience.
New Content: Guild Boss Battle and Raid Stage 2
The update introduces a significant competitive element and a new source for endgame gear:
-
Guild Boss Battle: This new mode is a competitive damage race focused on defeating the “Budge Machine.” Guilds pool their damage output against the boss to earn guild points, climb both individual and seasonal rankings, and secure greater rewards based on collective participation. This feature encourages maximum guild activity and coordinated effort.
-
Raid Expansion: The Raid content receives a challenging extension with the launch of Raid Stage 2, introducing the formidable King Budge Dragon. Successfully defeating this new, more powerful foe offers access to coveted new Artifact items, including pieces of the highly sought-after Legendary rank, giving endgame players a meaningful new goal.
Quality-of-Life Improvements and Event
Recognizing the intensity of its frequent content, the update also includes essential Quality-of-Life (QoL) improvements to enhance the game’s idle rhythm:
-
Automatic Entry: Matching-based contents such as Chaos Castle, Raids, and other ticket-based modes can now be entered automatically. This QoL tweak significantly cuts down on repetitive navigation, increasing gameplay efficiency and maintaining the core “idle” convenience.
-
Budge Dragon’s Jewel Chest Event: Starting December 11th, the Budge Dragon’s Jewel Chest event goes live. Players can acquire Keys through Exploration and use them to open chests loaded with valuable resources, including Diamonds, Sweep Tickets, and Jewels.
The combination of new competitive features and improved convenience ensures that MU: Pocket Knights remains a strategic, yet accessible, experience for both new and established commanders.
